While it is important to remain informed...it is imperative to remain calm. We need to find ways to remain peaceful rather than allow ourselves to panic. Maybe that means an online yoga class, a meditation workshop, catch up on a favorite show, read a new book or take a walk in the park. We need to find ways to remain faithful rather than allowing outside sources to create fear within us. Maybe that means limiting our exposure to the news or only checking social media once or twice a day.
We need to use our sense of wisdom rather than worry over things beyond our control. Seek information but don't allow it to trigger fears. For some of us, this is easier said than done. While many of us are self isolating inside the protective walls our our own little nests, we need to know we are not alone. Make a phone call, check on a friend, family member or neighbor. Spread the love during these trying and frustrating times. Whatever you do...don't panic. Rest your mind. Ease your soul.
